Viet Hidden Gems

Viet Hidden Gems is a platform where I explore the diverse aspects of our Vietnamese community – people, language, art, cuisine, religious beliefs, customs, and more – through traditional and new perspectives. Currently, I develop content strategies and write posts for the Facebook page.

Prospectively, I’m planning to build a community that connects experts with those interested in Vietnamese culture.

From Strangers to Familiars: Empathy

I organized an English communication event centered around empathy, a topic that many people are interested in as they want to learn how to understand others' thoughts and feelings.

During the event, I paired strangers together in groups. Through activities and games that I devised, they had the opportunity to listen and understand each other better.

The event received high praise for its strong sense of connection. Participants even stayed in touch long after. They also recognized that the event had helped them become more open-minded.

Gen Z Truyền - Vietcetera

As a co-founder of the "Gen Z Truyền" show, I played a key role in creating a show that uses tarot cards to engage with Gen Z viewers.

Before developing this concept, I and our team conducted thorough research on relevant topics and carefully selected guests who could share impactful messages. It was important for them to offer a fresh perspective and address the challenges faced by Gen Z.

Our main focus was to connect with the Gen Z audience by creating content that aligns with their mindset, values, and aspirations.

AIA Premier Night

I supported the development of content for an AIA event in France (AIA is our client).

The client wanted a French-themed event that also reflected the AIA's values. We researched different aspects of French culture (fashion, food, perfume, art, and literature...). Eventually, we decided to focus on French literature as the theme was inclusive, provided potential resources, and aligned closely with the client's needs.

The client appreciated this approach and the message it conveyed. As for me, I learned how to transform complicated cultural contexts into concise and logical ideas.

StyleVR (Content Style Guide)

I took on a personal project to create a Content Style Guide for an imagined app called 'StyleVR'. This app allows users to virtually try on clothes and observe how they move, which enhances the overall experience.

The entire process included researching potential users, defining the app's brand voice and tone, and then making a complete guide covering voice, tone, tone map, writing principles, grammar, format, and style.

My responsibility was to make sure all parts of the style guide connected cohesively. Each piece of information is built on what came before, so it is easily understandable and accessible to both stakeholders and users.
